Trades across London
Our trades take work anywhere in Greater London. Some trades are regulated by law. This is what applies here.
Gas work is regulated
Under the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, anyone working on gas fittings and appliances must belong to the class of persons approved by the Health and Safety Executive, which is the Gas Safe Register. [1]
Electrical work and Part P
Approved Document P covers electrical safety in dwellings. Notifiable electrical work must be self-certified by a registered competent person or approved by building control. [2]
Listed and heritage buildings
London has about 19,000 list entries for historic buildings. Altering a listed building in a way that affects its character needs listed building consent, even for small trade jobs such as replacing joinery. [3] [4]
Trades across all London boroughs
We arrange trades for homes, rentals and small businesses across Greater London.
Lime plastering in period houses, sash window decorating, bathroom tiling, boundary wall repairs and rental turnarounds that need several trades in one tight week are all the kind of work we can quote for.
Tell us what needs doing and where, and we’ll come back to you about availability.
